Summary of the movie Penthouse
The movie Penthouse tells the story of rich and powerful women living in a luxury apartment complex in Seoul. They all have their own ambitions and secrets, and they are willing to do anything to achieve their goals.
Penthouse is divided into two parts: Part 1 - Uptown War (2020 - 2021) and Part 2 - Uptown War: The Next War (2021 - 2022).
Part 1
The story begins with Shim Su-ryeon, a successful businesswoman and mother of Bae Ro-na, a talented girl who is not recognized by others in the building. Su-ryeon is married to Joo Dan-tae, a rich and powerful businessman.
At the Penthouse building, Su-ryeon faces other women who are also ambitious and powerful. They are Oh Yoon-hee, a famous actress but looked down upon by others; Cheon Seo-jin, a talented soprano with a mysterious past; and Kang Ma-ri, a rich housewife who is always looked down upon by her husband.
These women all have their own secrets that they try to hide. They are willing to do anything to protect their secrets, even if it means killing someone.
Part 2
Part 2 continues the story of part 1, with the appearance of a new character, Logan Lee, a mysterious man with a feud with Joo Dan-tae. Logan Lee has returned to Korea to take revenge on Dan-tae and those who harmed him.
The battle between the women in the Penthouse building becomes increasingly fierce and brutal. They are willing to do anything to win, even if it means sacrificing their own lives.
