Recently, several classic series have been revived in the form of high-quality new versions. The popular Samurai-themed adventure masterpiece Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romance Story (るろうに剣心-明治剣客浪漫譚-) will return in 2023. The first anime had 94 episodes from 1996 to 1998, followed by a brand new series about Rurouni Kenshin made by Liden Films this year.
