Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim aired in 2016 and is considered one of the best medical dramas in the Korean film industry. Teacher Y Duc is highly appreciated for his skillful combination of professional factors and the exposure of many hidden corners in the medical profession in particular and society in general.
The drama is a good medical topic revolving around the story of genius doctor Boo Yong Joo played by Han Suk Kyu. He is a legend of surgery in Korea. However, because he was harmed by his colleagues and had to give up his name and career, he went to hide in an unnamed hospital to continue living with his profession, taking the nickname Master Kim.
Here, Doctor Boo Yong Joo met and became the teacher of two young doctors Yoon Seo Jung (Seo Hyun Jin) and Kang Dong Joo (Yoo Yeon Suk).
