Plot summary:
After Shrek and Fiona get married, they accept an invitation from Fiona's father and wife to attend a party in their kingdom, Far Far Away. This is the kingdom where Fiona previously lived in the fairy tale. However, the two do not know that Fiona's parents have been replaced by an evil witch, the Fairy Godmother, to gain control of the kingdom.
When Shrek and Fiona arrive at Far Far Away, they begin to see their lives change. Shrek has trouble getting used to ogre culture, and Fiona has to deal with class distinctions and her parents' decisions. Meanwhile, Donkey and Puss in Boots also join the adventure as they try to help Shrek and Fiona solve their difficult situation.
