Tales of Zestiria the X tells the story of a young man named Sorey, who grows up alongside a spiritual invisible being named "Seraphim". Sorey believes in a folktale that says, "Long ago, everyone could see the Seraphim". Sorey dreams of uncovering ancient mysteries in order to create a world where the Seraphim can coexist peacefully with humans.
One day, Sorey visited the Human Capital for the first time. Sorey participated in an event in which Sorey drew a holy sword embedded in a stone, and that made him a Shepherd who would protect the earth.
