The Interest of Love is adapted from the popular novel, revolving around the story of four characters Ha Sang-so, Ahn so Young, Park Mi Kyung, and Jung Jong Hyun, who are busy with their daily lives in different ways. They think they have some understanding of love and are well organized, but when faced with romantic vibrations, things no longer seem to follow the familiar trajectory they can control.Ha Sang-so (Yoo Yeon-Seok) pursues a normal life. He believes that happiness is having an unshakable life. Due to the appearance of love, his daily quiet life changes.
An so-Young (Mun Ka-Young) thinks that love doesn't last forever and can go away at any time. She is busy supporting herself in difficult circumstances. She gets excited by a man who suddenly approaches her.
Park Mi-Kyung (Keum Sae-Rok) comes from a wealthy family. She is assertive and quite open about her feelings. When she has someone she likes, she will keep that person by her side no matter what. However, she enters a relationship that does not go as she wants.
Jung Jong-Hyun (Jung Ga-Ram) is studying for an exam to become a police officer. He has a personality that makes him try his best in everything. But he is living in a harsh situation.
