In this gothic-style anime, humans accidentally live next to carnivorous monsters called vampires. These creatures hide their existence from humans in order to continue their terrible feeding habits, in order to hunt down unsuspecting people.The main character Ken Kaneki, along with many other characters, exudes a gothic style. Particularly noteworthy was his terrifying tooth-filled mask.
