Shaniwarwada was built in 1732 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Following the rise of the Maratha Empire, the venue was mainly used for Indian politics in the 18th century. In 1828, the fort was almost completely wiped out in a mysterious fire. The remaining walls are now welcoming tourists from all over the world.

With most ancient structures, Shaniwarwada has many scary legends. One of them tells of a young prince, Narayanrao, who was murdered by a family in the fortress. It is said that in the murder, the boy shouts for salvation. Now, throughout the full moon, if you camp on the Fort Yard, you'll obviously hear the ghosts of the Prince shouting big for help. Another version of the legend says that the screams can only be heard in the moonlit nights, such as the brutal murder and the rescue of the Prince rediscovered in Shaniwarwada's ruined walls.
