Larbor Day – American Labor Day is commemorated on the first Monday of September each year. This is one of the major American holidays, the Day of Honor and recognition of social and economic contributions of all classes of labour for the development of the country.
The first Labor Day was held in 1882. The origin of this day stems from the desire of the Central Labor Coalition to create a holiday for workers. On the first Monday in September of 1894 became the official US holiday to celebrate the "holiday worker's Day". And over the decades, the industrial centers of the United States often organize large parades to celebrate union workers.
The first few years in America, this holiday was commemorated by a street parade to the public honoring and praising the contributions of trade organizations and workforce throughout the country. After the parade, a festival was held for recreation to local workers and their families.
