Larbor Day – American Labor Day is commemorated on the first Monday of September each year. This is one of the major American holidays, the Day of Honor and recognition of social and economic contributions of all classes of labour for the development of the country.
The first Labor Day was held in 1882. The origin of this day stems from the desire of the Central Labor Coalition to create a holiday for workers. On the first Monday in September of 1894 became the official US holiday to celebrate the "holiday worker's Day". And over the decades, the industrial centers of the United States often organize large parades to celebrate union workers.
The first few years in America, this holiday was commemorated by a street parade to the public honoring and praising the contributions of trade organizations and workforce throughout the country. After the parade, a festival was held for recreation to local workers and their families.

In the United States, Independence Day, also known as Jul. 4, just like the 2/9 on Vietnam, this is a major day of the country, the holidays to celebrate the Declaration of Independence signed in 1776. During the holidays there are parade, outdoor festivals, and many public ceremonies. The American people, from the young age, have been able to love the country and his country. They wore sacred national print shirts, and the chess handles traveled throughout the streets. Also on this day, families often do outdoor festivals. The parade is played on the morning of 4, in the evening there are often fireworks performances in the square. During the holiday period, many families hang the flag in front of the house to celebrate.

Day 1/1 is a new year in the calling of our Vietnamese people. In America this is a big holiday bearing the significance of the new Year's greeting. On this day, Americans will be on vacation in combination with the 6th, 7th and total they have 3 tet holidays. During this special holiday, people will not eat but instead drink. They can sit together in the pubs or crank in front of the screen to raise cups, monitor the countdown to the moment of transition between old and New year. In New York, they rushed to time Squares, watching crystal balls and paper flowers in the brilliant light of the fireworks.

The United States has fought many wars such as World War II 1.2, China War, Vietnam, Irac... In battles, there were many who were born as well as wounded, so the surviving warriors returned to always receive special attention by their labors. And the day 11/11 was chosen as the day of honoring the veterans. Nov. 1919, U.S. President Wilson declared that 11 months 11 was the first anniversary of the retirement day with the following words: "In the United States, we recall the retirement day by expressing divine pride in the soldiers who have bravely sacrificed for the nation, and by gratitude for their victory, for they both have brought to US freedom, as well as for the United States the opportunity to demonstrate the spirit of respect for peace and justice with the communities of nations..."
The first Veterans Day ceremony consisted of a regular, public meeting, and discontinued daily activities beginning at 11 a.m.

Christmas, also known as the Christmas feast, or Noel, Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, according to the majority of Christian members. It can be said that Christmas is the greatest holiday, which is the most visible of all holidays in America.
The holidays are officially held on 25 Dec but usually celebrated from the evening on Dec. 24. During this holiday, every home is decorated with pine trees, rock caves, and Christmas songs that are open before the holidays for about 1 month across the roads of the United States and other countries around the world, including Vietnam.

Thanksgiving took place in the 11th month, before Christmas a month, usually held on the fifth of the fourth week in Nov. This holiday is rated as the most important form in the United States. The traditional American Thanksgiving was held on Thursday of the fourth week during the 11th month. Thanksgiving was established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt as law in 1939 and approved by the United States Congress on August 26/11/1941.
Thanksgiving Day is the day to be venerered with God and they often come to church praying to pray that all good things the Lord will continue to come. On this day, Americans will get up early to the church and then prepare a big grilled turkey party for the family to gather, reunite with each other.

On Halloween is also known as the Devil Festival (31/10). This is a festival for kids and teens, starting on the evening of day 31-10 for up to 12 hours and games "Trick Or Treat ". "Trick " with the mean: fool, naughty ghost games, "Treat " is welcome, treat to be good, for deals.
Every year on this day, American children wear the most peculiar clothes, most unique with candies, pumpkin lamps and devil icons to have fun. By the way, the children will go to each family, knocking on the door and saying "trick or treat ". Usually the neighbors always welcome the children with candy and fruit.
However, when it came to Vietnam this holiday became the day of the main page, so many people will be confused and do not know the practice during the holidays.

Despite the mixed comments on people looking to the Americas, Columbus was still given an honorary name for this special anniversary.
This is the great day of this adventurer and also the important day in the maritime and exploration industry of the world. Christopher Columbus was the Italian working for the Spanish court, so only two countries celebrate this great day on Oct-12. My own country is the country that inherits the result of this expedition, which also celebrates the weighted day but chooses on the 2nd 2nd week of the 10th month, and calls this day "Columbus Day".

This is the birthday of the famous Pastor King. He was a human rights activist in the United States and received the Nobel Peace Prize for the struggle to fight for the equality of black people in America. He is the one giving five important civil rights laws that terminate discrimination in public places and prohibit racism, color, religion, sex or national origin. This law was signed by President Lyndon Johnson.
The United States Congress appointed Martin Luther King, Jr. Was a national feast day in 1994, for the purpose of encouraging the American population to participate in community projects.
