Rurouni Kenshin: The Final
Rurouni Kenshin: The Final is an action film adaptation of the manga directed by Keishi Otomo. The work is based on the last part of Nobuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin manga series, but the story has been adapted. The work focuses on the pacifist wanderer Himura Kenshin, who is brought into battle by Yukishiro Enishi in a battle involving revenge. It is also the fourth installment in the Rurouni Kenshin series.
Determined to put behind pointless hatred and violence, Kenshin Himura and his comrades traveled across Japan and stood up to fight for the lowly and oppressed everywhere. He also swore to himself that he would never take anyone's life again. The last two films will deal heavily with the prequel, describing why Humura Kenshin has a cross-shaped scar on his cheek. Focuses on Rurouni Kenshin's past as the assassin Hitokiri Battousai during Bakumatsu's final years, while also exploring his relationship with a woman named Yukishiro Tomoe.
