Seochodong is a Korean drama in the genre of romance – drama – slice of life, delicately exploring the theme of love, identity and the miracle of connection between people living on the same street called “Seocho”. The film follows the stories of the residents here—each with a different background—but all experiencing changes when a small bookstore appears, as the source of beautiful stories and unexpected connections.

At the center is Han Seo‑jin, the owner of the bookstore called “Seochodong Books”, who is a passionate editor with a dream of connecting people’s souls through books. She meets fellow street people such as Kim Dong‑hyun, a chef who married into a small restaurant next door, a single father who is withdrawn after a breakup; Park Min‑ji, a shy high school girl who is passionate about writing; and Lee Jae‑hoon, a young man who makes a living as a delivery man. Each book read together in the bookstore, each conversation on the bookshelf has built interwoven relationships - friendship, family, and even gentle love.
