There Will Be Blood (2007) is a 2007 American epic period drama film written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, based on the novel Oil! Upton Sinclair's 1927. The film stars Daniel Day-Lewis as Daniel Plainview, a silver miner who turns oil workers on a ruthless quest for riches during the oil boom in Southern California at the end of the century. 19th and early 20th century.
