Based on a popular third-person shooter game, Gungrave is a serious zombie anime series that focuses on Brandon Heat's journey of revenge. Now known as Beyond the Grave, or Grave for short, he is seeking revenge on his former partner and best friend in the organized crime organization.
Grave, in best a villainous hero, is an indestructible undead. He is triggered only by the desire to avenge the criminal group that killed, and at the same time destroy his fellow undead.
