Thai Thanh (birth name: Pham Thi Bang Thanh; August 5, 1934 – March 17, 2020 (11:50 am California time, March 18, 2020 Vietnam time) was named "The song that transcends time" time" – is a famous female singer, considered as one of the most representative voices of Vietnamese new music. She sang and succeeded since the age of 14 in the resistance area, famous with the Thang Choir. Long of the family, before officially adopting the stage name Thai Thanh in the 1950s. She is often considered as the "First famous singer" of the pre-war music as well as Southern love music from 1954 to 1975, and her name is Her age is also especially associated with the compositions of musician Pham Duy.
Although she did not attend any professional music classes, only practicing her voice from a young age according to the folk songs of the Northern Delta and French music books, Thai Thanh has created a separate school that blends operatic nature.
