Little boy Dastan was originally an orphan living on the streets. One day, he saw another child being bullied by a group of imperial soldiers. Dastan immediately saved the boy, but unfortunately he made a Persian officer in that group angry and Dastan was chased. Persian King Sharaman saw this and immediately saved him because he saw a noble and brave character in Dastan and he adopted him.
Living in the royal court and being taught strictly, Dastan became a prince with a noble demeanor, intelligence and especially a true warrior. During the conquest of Alamut because the royal court thought there was a weapons forge there, Dastan clearly demonstrated his ability by quickly capturing Alamut's citadel so that the Persian army could rush into the citadel. Then, thanks to Dastan's intelligence and courage and the strength of the Persian army, Alamut was quickly captured and under the control of the Persian army. Princess Tamina is captured. Previously, Tamina gave one of her soldiers an ancient knife with a glass handle - which was the key to accessing the Sands of Time, a sacred and mysterious thing. But Dastan snatched it from the soldier. However, Dastan still did not know the identity of the knife.
After capturing Alamut, the Persian court held a party to celebrate. Tamina was forced to marry Prince Tus. Dastan offered King Sharaman a gift prepared by his brother, Prince Tus, which was a cloak. But unfortunately the shirt was poisoned and King Sharaman was assassinated. Dastan was falsely accused of assassinating the king. Having no other choice, he had to run away. Princess Tamina saw the knife on Dastan's body and took advantage of that chaotic opportunity to run after him to get the knife. So the two of them became allies.
