Trailer The Emerald Forest (1985)
The story revolves around Bill Markham (Powers Boothe), an American engineer working to build a dam in the rainforest. During a family outing, his young son, Tommy (Charley Boorman), is mysteriously kidnapped by a native tribe. The film fast forwards several years, showing that Bill continues to search for his son.
Time passed, and Tommy grew up in the tribe, now called Tomme, living fully integrated into the lifestyle of the people who raised him. Tomme becomes a professional hunter and a respected member of the tribe, with no memory of his past. As he searched more frantically for Tommy, Bill luckily learned about the tribe's existence and the possibility that his son was among them.
He enters the Amazon rainforest and contacts a guide named Kohawk (Meg Foster). As Bill and Kohawk venture deeper into the jungle, they encounter the tribe and eventually locate Tomme.
