Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the second installment of the Fantastic Beasts film series and continues after the events of the first film.
This part continues to follow wizard Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) as he is assigned by Albus Dumbledore to stop the dangerous criminal Gellert Grindelwald. Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) has escaped from prison and is gathering loyal witches to carry out a plan to make witches stronger using all tricks to take control of the world.
During the journey, Newt must search to Paris and discover that Grindelwald is looking for a special boy wizard, Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller), who was thought to have died in the previous film.
Newt's journey encounters many hurdles, from dangerous situations to learning about the complicated relationship between Grindelwald, Dumbledore and the entire Lestrange family. The film takes viewers on a journey to discover the secrets and motives behind the characters' actions and creates a complex picture of the battle between evil and good in the wizarding world.
