The Theory of Everything is a film based on the life of famous physicist Stephen Hawking and the touching love story with his wife, Jane Hawking.
The film begins with Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne), a talented student at Cambridge University, meeting literary girl Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones) and creating a famous love affair. However, Stephen's life turned upside down when he was diagnosed with ALS syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which seriously affects movement. Even though his illness became more severe and his ability to move decreased, Stephen continued to make efforts to research the origin of the universe as well as devote himself to his passion for physics.
While Stephen faced difficulties and his body weakened, Jane gradually became his caregiver and supported him in his fight against illness. They continued life like other normal families, gave birth to three beautiful children and tried to overcome all difficulties. However, while Stephen achieves great success in the field of research, the relationship between the two begins to experience challenges with the appearance of a new companion.
