From Me to You (Live-action) (2010) is a Japanese romance and school film, directed by Naoto Kumazawa and scripted by Rika Nezu and Naoto Kumazawa. The film is based on the manga of the same name by Karuho Shiina.
The film is about Sawako Kuronuma (Mikako Tabe), a high school girl who looks like the ghostly character Sadako in the movie The Ring. She is always shunned and misunderstood by her friends and others. She just wants to make friends and help people, but no one dares to approach her. Everything changes when she meets Shota Kazehaya (Haruma Miura), a popular and friendly guy in school. He is the only one who is not afraid of Sawako and starts talking to her. Sawako Kuronuma gradually has feelings for Shota Kazehaya and wants to become his girlfriend. However, she also faces many difficulties and troubles when loving a famous person like him. She must compete with Ume Kurumizawa (Misako Renbutsu), a beautiful and talented girl, and must endure the jealousy and harm of those who are jealous of her.
