The film tells the love story between a male high school student Gouda Takeo (Suzuki Ryohei) and a female student Yamato Rinko (Nagano Mei), who falls in love with him at first sight.
The movie begins with Takeo saving Rinko from a harasser on the bus. Rinko appreciates and admires Takeo, but he thinks she likes his best friend Sunakawa Makoto (Sakaguchi Kentaro), a handsome and intelligent guy. Takeo decides to help Rinko pursue Sunakawa, even though he also has feelings for her.
The film continues to follow the process of two people gradually understanding each other and falling in love. They have sweet moments, like going on picnics, watching fireworks, or going to karaoke.
